Passenger Application

Passenger apps for Android and Ios have been developed with the following features.

One touch registration

The app will request the passengers phone number and name and the server will respond with a text confirmation hyperlink.

In most cases pressing this hyperlink will be sufficient to authenticate the passenger and launch the app in cash booking mode 
The hyperlink may also trigger further questions that will enable app features to be activated such as.

Custom branding (the colours, bitmap and “about us” screen will be replaced.
POI only (Some clients such as National rail will only want local railways to be the option)
POI and manual address entry

Cash booking

The passenger will requesting transportation from a location at a time and place. They will declare the number of passengers and the destination address or location.

Account booking

The passenger will either have their own account or will have an associated corporate account that they can use as the method of payment when booking the job.

Passenger app workflow

  • User/Passenger will download the application.
  • User will enter their phone number.
  • Entered number will be verified from back-end using SMS gateway.
  • Branding feature can then be activated according to parameters.

Advanced features

System busy negotiation
When any request send by the passenger through passenger application through the data aggregator the passenger can potentially view more than 1 pickup options.
For instance if the booking is for 6 passengers then the passenger will be quoted for 1 7 sealer or 2 Saloon cars.
If there are no cars available at the requested time then the nearest time before and after the requested time may be offered.
Android quote and acknowledge app
The purpose of this app is to provide a fast deployment mechanism that will enable fulfilment agents (both booking offices and operator drivers) to download the app, quote for Jobs in real-time, receive job offers and advance bookings.

Every call centre that use Diplomat Navigator will have the option to connect their locally hosted Diplomat Navigator system to the Data aggregator so that it can automate the process of quoting for jobs and accepting bookings.

This project is currently under development and will be a forked development of the Kuber-9 Driver app

Passenger Portal

The passenger portal provides management portal that stores all passenger information, booking and travel history.

A signup module enables passengers billing information to be tokenised. The passenger can then choose which billing methodology they wish to use when using web based or mobile apps reducing the risk of fraud.

A master administer]ation level enables the management of the passenger and driver records in a structured way. 

Additional users with privileges can be created

All passenger records can be conveniently managed.

Job history is stored for analysis and billing.

Feedback analysis for driver rating.

Data Aggregator

Description

The data aggregator is a hosted database that all co-operating system communications pass through.
It provides connectivity between unlimited branch offices the passenger app portal, the Web booker, the payment gateway and any other third party apps requiring integration.

Communications

The communication mechanisms are restful in design and therefore no specialised router adjustments need to be made at the local offices or remote sites.

Subscription Management

The data aggregator components will communicate with the Chargify billing platform enabling the master operator to take either manual or automatically billed subscription fees for any services that are offered to third parties as “software as a service” or any metered services such as app referrals etc.

 

Operator Subscription Management portal

Master operators can sub-let the software or its usage as a service and charge according to various parameters including maximum drivers / Clients or job counts and extras.

The portal can be configured to accumulate extras such as premium rate jobs and referrals and make charges to the sub operators in real time.

Diplomat Navigator

The enterprise version of the popular Diplomat Navigator software provides an easy to use call taker and job fulfilment interface that is common to all Diplomat Navigator systems. It has all of the common accounting and pricing mechanisms but has additional features to facilitate the management of branch offices or independent fulfilment operators and third party agency bookings with per click or accounting.

Operators

In addition to Drivers and vehicles the software facilitates the creation of managed fulfilment operators that can be directly connected using their own installed Diplomat Navigator system or can respond using email forms or an Android quotation and fulfilment app.

Automated Despatch

Cabbureauoffers both email and direct connection modes for despatching work. Currently job offers are despatched to a suitable fulfilment operator once they are received. An optional HTML button on the email enables the operator to feedback if the accept or reject the offer.

Coverage areas and bespoke Tariff.

The operators can be allocated independent coverage areas with independent tariff and rate matrices.

This facilitates the accurate quotation of jobs according to geographical area and selected operator regardless of their despatch software. Operators with Diplomat Navigator installed can automatically connect to Cabbureau for seamless real-time interaction of pricing,

Commissioning and Agents.

For call centres with third party stake holders. Third party agents with manual or automated referrals are now automatically accounted for as the feature facilitates the “carrying” of a commission fee through to the fulfilment operator who will in some circumstances collect the fee as an agent. This is accounted for in the expanded version of the Diplomat Navigator accounts and job pricing module. This has 3 additional tabs Extras, Payments and cash flow.

 

Operators with Diplomat Navigator installed can automatically connect to Cabbureau for seamless real-time interaction of pricing,

Driver and Operator statement s then clearly show how much should be paid to Drivers/Operators and how much the Driver/Operator has collected whilst acting as an agent

Automatic Analysis of how the job was paid and a cash flow statement showing if the driver is holding call centre cash or expecting a payment.

Driver App

This app is used to manage a driver or a group of drivers. It enables the driver to register both his details and his vehicle details on either the office hosted Diplomat Navigator software or on the Driver and passenger portal.

The app will enable the system to track the geolocation of the drivers and offer qualified drivers work in real-time. In addition to the job offer and fulfilment features this app integrates with third party navigation software to provide turn by turn navigation.

The Driver app has a soft Meter that can run multiple tariffs and reports both Job and Clear vehicle activity enabling analysis of vehicles that are moving when allegedly empty.

When DVR MDTs are used such as the Datax 5.3g and the KM1205 driver performance data is also collected including G force detection and Hi Definition Video.
